Four Ways To Transform Your Hair

Breathe new life into those dry and fried locks

NETTLE: I recommend this treatment for anyone who is desperately looking to fix their fried hair. There are two ways that a person can obtain a tonic made out of nettle. The easiest way is to find a bottle at your nearest health food store. However, nettle can also be picked in the spring months (May to June). The plant can be found in most wooded areas, like parks, and needs to be picked before they flower in the summer months. Nettle stings, so if you choose to pick the plant make sure you bring a pair of thick gloves, scissors and a bag. After you fill your bag, the nettle needs to be dried and stored. To create the mixture all you have to do is boil the dry leaves. Then after it cools rinse your hair with the tonic. You can either choose to leave it in for an hour or overnight, depending on the damage. I know it sounds crazy, but my hair improved drastically after two treatments. Plus this method is organic, vegan, environmentally friendly and cheap!
