31 Has Never Looked So Good

You Can Feel Good At Any Age, But You Can Feel Great at 31

You know that old saying? All things get better with age? Well, there's finally a study to prove it. According to a report penned in the U.K. a woman reaches her prime at 31. Meaning that, contrary to what most people think, and most media might argue, women look better after they've done a little more living. Or, in other words, 30 is the new 20.

Upwards of 2,000 men and women participated in the open survey, bringing in results that were both conclusive, and overwhelming. According to participants, beauty (as it was defined in the study) is linked with confidence just as much as it is with physical appearance. The abstract did indicate that the average British woman is typically married with at least one child by the age of 31. However researchers believe that it's this kind of stability, and the confidence that comes with maturity, and even parenthood, that contributes to the manner in which others perceive them.

And if the numbers aren't proof enough for you, take these 31 year old celebs who are looking better than ever: Norah Jones, Lake Bell, Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Love Hewitt are just a few examples of 30-somethings who are absolutely killing it.

So next time you're in the gym locker room feeling self conscious about your age, lust not for the butt of the 19-year-old next to you. She's probably wishing she had yours.
