Skip The Gingerbread Latte's and Go For a Ginger-Head At the Salon
If
you have ever wanted red hair, fall 2010 just might be the season to do
it. The weather might be gloomy, but the hair forecast is red hot! With
all of the season's colour leaning toward rich hues, saturated browns,
reds, and purples, what better way to compliment your new wardrobe than
with some spicy new tresses?
Rhianna has
revealed her new vibrant do, rocking a fire engine red only rivaled by
Mr. Ronald MacDonald himself. However, there are more subtle reds to
try if you're not daring enough to copy Ri-Ri. Why not try a more natural red likeJulianne Moore or Mad Men's Christina Hendricks?
Although home dye
kits may be okay for brunettes, and sometimes even blondes (although we
would warn against that for the most part) it's better to have reds
done at a salon. If the red isn't dyed properly, you could be looking
at months and months of ruby coloured hair that will not just rinse
out. Red is a strong colour, and can bleed through future dyes if it isn't
done properly the first time.
So why not ring up your stylist and give
it a shot? Who doesn't want a do that matches her new shoes, anyway?
