The Toronto Based Company Opens A Pop-Up Shop To Debut New Product During TIFF

TIFF is in full swing, and Yorkville is simply buzzing. The streets are overcrowded, people stand with cameras and notepads, hoping for the scribble of an autograph, or even just a sighting. Store fronts are squeaky clean, and the red carpet is rolled out in front of The Four Season's.

But, before you take your place in line to scout out the stars in the hotel's limo-filled driveway, why not follow your nose to Aromachology's film festival pop-up shop outside?

OwnersKirsten Menkes and Ashlee Firsten are on hand through-out the entire stretch of the star-studded festival, waiting to blend scents for expected TIFF attendees like Megan Fox and Edward Nortan, as well as Canadian darling Ellen Page.

During the week, the pair will also be debuting two new products at the Four Season's temp-boutique. First, they are showcasing a line of delectably scented soy candles. The pastel coloured votives are sold in singles, as well as in gorgeously packaged gift sets that allow you to mix and match your room scents at will. You can select Clean & Fresh for the kitchen, Totally Edible for the bedroom, and Bold & Brisk for a pretty Autumn afternoon spent on the back patio. Next, they are introducing the Aromachology Body Milk, a light, non-greasy spray that is softly scented and super luxurious. I tried it myself. It's to die for.

There are a few stars we'd love to see in here. I would love to help Jennifer Aniston, or Kiera Knightley, or Natalie Portman mix up their own scent, Menkes gushes. Both owers are dressed to the nines on the first day of the Festival, and admit they'll chase any celebrety down at the chance to offer them a sample.

"No shame," Mekes jokes.

The Aromachology pop-up location will be open to the public (and the celebs!) from September 9th-19th, right across from the front entrance of The Four Season's Hotel in Yorkville.
