L'Oreal's Primer Gets Our Vote

As a self-proclaimed (diagnosed?) make up aficianado, I love new cosmetic discoveries. But recently I was informed of my tardiness in joining the beauty bandwagon for one particular product: face primer.

Somehow the brilliance escaped me, and since this revelation I have been all about the primer in a big way. For anyone else new to the skin smoothing formula, let me assure you that your daily make up regimen is currently incomplete without it.

L'Oreal Studio Secrets Face Primer Professional Magic Perfecting Base is unnecessarily long in its title, but totally necessary in its application. Any make up artist will tell you that when applying the basics of make up, your skin should be moisturized and smooth. With this lightweight formula, I noticed immediately that concealer, powder, and eye shadow were all easy to glide on. There was nothing sticky or slimy about this matte-like cream, and I was impressed with its smooth finish - it doesn't sit heavy on the skin like an extra layer of foundation.

What really sold me, however, is the lasting softness. This primer makes my face so soft and smooth that I can't help but feel my cheeks all day. Like a baby's bottom. Plus, it sells at only $10.99? It's settled, I'm in.
