UK director Danny Boyle made the find of the decade when he cast Mumbai-based Freida Pinto as the heroine in his epic hit, Slumdog Millionaire. She is the South East Asian answer to Natalie Portman. Stunning, scary smart and a blisteringly on target actress.

Having met Freida briefly at the Toronto International Film Festival in 08, I can safely say this girl has great things ahead of her. The co-star of "Slumdog Millionaire" recently skyrocketed an astonishing 65,740% in one day on Yahoo's barometer. That's some serious search engine success. We here at WOMAN.ca put more stock in this than the IMDB meter.

Why the surge? Pinto is a standout actress in a standout flick that everybody's talking about. "Slumdog Millionaire" is generating huge awards buzz. Much of the emotional momentum of the film is built sheerly on the architecture of this girl's face. You can clearly see that EVERYONE on set of this film was, on some level, in love with Freida Pinto. Every shot that she's in is a Valentine to her incredible face. Is this profile not unstoppable?
