Eat Better and Look Better

Sure. Everybody wants beautiful skin. Women spend a fortune just to get that smooth, dewy look we all desire.

But rather than shelling out big bucks for expensive creams, lotions and cosmetic treatments, did you know that you can drastically improve your skin by adding certain foods to your diet?

Here are just a few yummy things that will kick that extra glow into gear.

1. Salmon
Salmon is a great source of essential fatty acids, which are fantastic for your complexion. If fish isn’t your cup of tea, opt for flax seeds, walnuts, or canola oil.

2. Avocado
Yum, yum, yum. If you don’t like avocado, you’re crazy. This versatile fruit is rich in  B-complex vitamins and essential oils and works like an anti-inflammatory agent. It’s perfect for skin that gets red and blotchy. Eat it or run it on. Your call! (But we say eat it! Mmm.)

3. Cottage Cheese
Jam packed with selenium, an essential mineral that is said to produce glowing, clear skin, cottage cheese is an easy addition to our list.

4. Low Fat Milk
Dairy products that are low in fat are a great choice for your skin because they rich in vitamin A, which helps to tighten and improve the overall look of your skin.

5. Water
This seems like a cop-out answer, but really, the benefits of water are impressive! By drinking six to eight glasses of water each day, you can keep your skin hydrated and fresh all year round.
