YSL Drops The Ball With Their White Pucker Lipstick

While the White Witch reigned over Narnia she may have been a cold-hearted snake but no one can say she didn’t look fabulous while she did it. Our fascination with austere and cold women is nothing new and those who have created them often spent a great deal of time on their mystic. And who wouldn’t want a bit of mystic?

YSL’s new gimmicky make-up is about as effective as the mood-lipsticks of days of old. While it may look opaque in the tube actually goes on shimmery with a hint of silver. Since the range of Couture Lipsticks has SPF 15 and a fade resistant base which would make it a great topper to your favourite shade and give it the unexpected punch up it needs.

The formula is actually quite pigmented so a little goes a long way depending on what look you’re going for. Along with the packaging and the luxurious texture it makes it a worthy purchase if you’re prepared to play around and work with it.

While swiping a bold shade of white on your lips may seem avant garde just remember mystic is subtle and full of... well... mystery.
