Cosmetics Competitor Revlon Asks The Questions We All Want Answers To
Revlon is reportedly doing a secret survey to try to find out how women are responding to ads starring Rihanna by its competitor Cover Girl.
The assumption is that women are disenchanted with the singer after her decision to reunite with Chris Brown and might not want to buy the products she uses, ahem, to make her easy, breezy and beautiful.
According to TMZ, an online survey commissioned by Revlon shows a Cover Girl commercial for mascara that features the 'Umbrella' singer and asks participants a number of questions, including if they know who the person in the ad is and if they are aware of news surrounding the person, without naming Rihanna.
The questions continue -- do they have an opinion of the person and do they feel the person is "an appropriate spokesperson" for Cover Girl.
Translation: Do women see Rihanna's beauty or do they just wonder which foundation she used to cover-up her bruises?
Undoubtedly, Cover Girl is asking themselves many of these same questions, particularly in light of the results of a troubling survey reported by The Boston Herald.
The newspaper reports that almost a half of the kids who participated think she's responsible for the attack. 200 Boston children were questioned, 51% said Brown was responsible, 46% said Rihanna was and 52% said they were both to blame.
