Can We Just Change The Name Of ANTM To "The Tyra Banks" Show Already? Oh, Wait . . .

Another model got cut on America's Next Top Model--but this time it wasn't one of the contestants. Paulina Porizkova went on the Late Late Show and told host Craig Ferguson she was in L.A. because she was looking for a job.

Apparently she was fired from ANTM on her birthday, which was April 9. Well, we hope she at least got a card and some cake before the big bombshell.

"The reason I was told I was fired was because it seemed that America's Next Top Model has gotten too fat, and they needed to cut some fat, and the fat was me,"
Paulina explained. Apparently her dismissal was due to "my gigantic, huge ego. Which I wasn't aware of until I was told by the producers that I have an ego problem."

Huge ego?! Puluze. The real reason Paulina was let go is simple: There can be only one top model, and that model will always be . . . Tyra Banks. Because she was the first curvy model to work in the industry. And no one can model with their eyes like she can. And it's her damn show. It was only a matter of time really after Tyra's five-head sized ego consumed Twiggy and Janice Dickinson.

Since models can't survive in that seat, they shouldn't even try. With her ginormous collection of wigs, Tyra could play the part of a different special guest judge each week and be CGI'd in next to Nigel. Hell, replace Nigel while we're at it and let her show off her gender-bending challenge skills. But unfortunately, the production values on ANTM suggest that kind of high-tech wizardry would be a stretch since most of their budget goes to Jay's hair dye and bronzer.

No, Tyra needs someone meek, yet famous enough to draw in viewers but not overshadow her, and who needs the job badly enough to accept the position.

And that person can only be Lindsay Lohan.
