Heather Graham Was The Second Choice To Star In "The Hangover!?" Man, That's Harsh . . .
Lindsay Lohan is the hardest working woman in Hollywood. Seriously. Forget Angelina Jolie. Or Kate Winslet.
Between being investigated for jewel theft, starring in a direct-to-DVD flop, epic tabloid fights with her on-again, off-again girlfriend, oh, and getting sued for claiming to have coming up with a crappy self-tanner, NO ONE has worked harder to completely and utterly destroy their film career than Linds.
What an over-achiever!
As if further proof was even needed, the rasping, emaciated, ginger sort-of lesbian passed on a shot to star in The Hangover. You might have heard of it? The biggest comedy movie of the summer that's so far taken over $270 million worldwide? Yeah, that one.
Linds was offered Heather Graham's role in the flick, but she turned it down because well, she turned it down because she's an idiot. Who are we kidding?
Us Weekly reports that Lilo turned down the role of stripper Jade in the blockbuster after declaring the screenplay "had no potential. Unlike her smash hit I Know Who Killed Me (insert eye roll here).
A source tells Us that director Todd Phillips approached Lohan to star in the hit flick after their mutual agent campaigned on the actress' behalf. The agent tried hard to get Phillips to consider her, and when he finally agreed, Lindsay said she didn't like the script!
For the record, "didn't like the script" really means "would have required her to remain alert and sober for more than 48-hours." Or she thought the movie was her autobiography
We're personally quite thankful that Lindsay Lohan turned down The Hangover. Because it would have probably made her a viable star again, and if she was acting in films, who'd be left to stumble around outside nightclubs starting fights with everyone all the time?
Nobody, that's who.
