Sasha Fierce Prefers the West. Sorry, Toronto.
Beyonce is previewing her "I AM..." world tour in Canada this spring before heading off to Europe. By "previewing," I mean, "Not quite the real thing." And by "Canada," I mean, "West of Ontario."
Before she lands in Croatia to officially launch the European leg of her tour on April 26th, the Dreamgirl will be stopping by in Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Vancouver (March 26th, 27th, 28th, 31st respectively) to give Canadian fans the live experience of her "I AM...SASHA FIECE" album.
Single ladies, I expect you to be there. And dancing along.
(And yes, the mathematical wizard that I am determined that Toronto is actually closer to Croatia than Vancouver is. Those who enjoy the private-jet lifestyle probably don't care.)
Her all-girl band Sugamamas will be backing her, her mom will NOT be dressing her (Whew. Did you see that House of Deréon mess at the Oscars?), the hits will be revisited, and high-tech craziness can only be expected from the multi-threat superstar.
So if you find yourself in Canada's western half and don't mind embracing a vocabulary that includes words like "bootylicious," head on over to Ticketmaster. Tickets and VIP packages are available now.
The rest of us will contemplate catching up with Mrs. Jay-Z in Dublin. Or we'll wait until she decides to extend the tour to include more North American dates. Which she'll do. Trust me.
