We Can Totally Imagine ANTM's Miss Jay Strutting On The Catwalk To This Song
It's a fashion faux pas to wear the same outfit as another girl. But what about covering the same song?
The Hills star Heidi Montag and "Just Dance" pop star and anti-pants advocate Lady Gaga both have versions of the song "Fashion" making the rounds.
Fashion put it all on me
Don't you want to see these clothes on me
Fashion put it all on me
I am anyone you want me to be
The infectious ditty name checks haute designers every fashionista knows by heart, like "Louis, Dolce Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, eh ou."
Heidi's version was intended for an album that so far has failed to materialize (shocking, we know) but has been circulating on the Internet since last summer.
After the track got slammed by gossip gangster Perez Hilton, the pop star wannbe opted to drop it. But that doesn't mean she was happy to learn Lady Gaga covered Fashion for the Confessions of a Shopaholic soundtrack.
Naturally, Heidi's douche-y shadow Spencer Pratt prefers the original, "Heidi's a far more talented artist and her version of Fashion' kills Lady Gaga's, he told Life & Style. Not that we plan to make it a habit, but we kind of agree with him. Heidi's version shot right to the top of our Guilty Pleasures playlist!
Listen to Heidi's recording here and Lady Gaga's cover here and tell us which singer has better "Fashion" sense.
