July 13, 2010 - Toronto's finest came out to support charity ONEXONE. The fundraiser which was sponsored by Diesel, started with a performance of the musical "Rock of Ages" at the Royal Alexandra Theatre followed by an after party at Tattoo Rock Parlour.
The extremely sexual comedy was high energy from start to finish. Who can resist all their favorite 80s songs thrown together in a love story musical? Actor Yvan Pedneault played Drew, the French-Canadian wannabe rocker. The way they threw in Canadian references throughout got the crowd really into it. In the end the audience was on their feet singing right along with lighters ablaze.
After the show the crowd moved over to Tattoo where the dance floor was packed. Stars that came out to show their support (and tore it up on the dance floor!) included the cast of Rock of Ages, singer Shawn Desman, and MuchMusic VJ Devon Soltendiek.
