We Came, We Danced, We Rocked!

On October 29 at The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, theCanadian Opera Company hosted their 7th annual Operanation fundraising gala.

Canada's tour de force indie rockers Broken Social Scene - our very own Cinderfellas - wowed the crowd with a pop-opera mashup with COC vocalists Wallis Giunta and Ambur Braid.

It was a fantastic flex of Toronto's cultural muscles. Held in the crystalline Isadore and Rosalie Sharp City Room, guests were treated to dancing, specialty cocktails, and food courtesy of Rose Reisman Catering while bidding on luxury silent auction items like a seven-day stay at a villa in Provence.

At over 1,000 attendees, the COC raised over$100,000 for their Education and Outreach programs.
