He's asking for it alright
Have you ever had a guy flat out ask for sex during a date? I credit it to nervousness or plain stupidity, but it surprises me (and turns me off) every time.
Al is a purebred Italian who plays lead in a metal band. He was shy at first, but turned out to be quite the chatty Cathy. And yes, we had sex a few times, but it wasn't that gratifying, though I still enjoyed his company.
It happened immediately after a debate about how metal derived from classical music; Al leaned in with a crooked grin, Can we do what we did last time?
He was four years younger than me, so I credit this pathetic attempt to his ignorance with woman. Needless to say, we stopped hanging out after that.
Declan is a Newfoundlander who moved to the GTA a few years ago. He's in business development and is two years older than me. We started off hot and heavy, though the fire quickly fizzled. But Declan was a hilarious guy, so I continued to enjoy his company.
After an engaging gab session and walk-about downtown, Declan dropped me off at my place. Our first physical contact was the hug he gave me then. He pulled away, looked straight in my eyes and asked to come in for a roll in the hay.' Way to get me worked up, slick.
A woman never has to ask for sex. We know when we want it and know when it's going to happen. We initiate and engage our partners with kissing, touching and with our chests heaving in anticipation we ask for the condom or break one out ourselves. At that point, what straight guy says no?
Maybe I unknowingly led these guys on to think they were getting some. Still, in the end I had the upper hand. Remember ladies, you make or break whether sex happens or not. Don't forget that the power lies in your hands!
