From Designer Lounges to Lights Out, Simply The Best in Asia
Cathay Pacific's The Arrival, Hong Kong International airport's first airline-branded arrival lounge, is like a zen garden in a minefield of stress. It practically makes flying 17 hours enjoyable.
These days, while travelers recognize the need to
undergo more thorough security checks, the need to arrive several hours
early, even for domestic flights, can cramp an executives' busy schedule. To make up for precious time away from the office,
first-class and business-class lounges are playing an even greater role
in providing a place for passengers to make phone calls in peace, go online and
hold meetings. In fact, many lounges around the world are now better equipped
to provide improved non-business services as well, offering such perks
as private cabanas, Hagen Daas and showers.
The lounge is located in the area connecting Terminals 1 and 2, and joins Cathay's two exisiting departure lounges at the airport. Facilities include a sumptuous buffet dining area, rapid wifi internet access and courtesy computers with wired access, a lux range of newspapers and magazines, and eight shower suites. With Dermalogica skincare! For the executive on the go, it doesn't get any better than this.
And we simply adore The Wing, a 43,000-square-foot,
wood-and-granite, open-air facility overlooking the terminal. We sipped at the 80-foot Long Bar and relished the delish Japanese noodle bar. Nothing tops the private cabanas, complete with personal showers,
beds and oversized tubs!
