Love IN Action 2010 Challenge

Do Some Good AND Win A Trip To Peru!

Show the Love in Action Team how you put YOUR love in action and create an innovative fundraising campaign to support the Planeterra Foundation and eyesight restoration camps in Tibet. We're looking for passionate groups of three to put together creative, fun and awareness driving campaigns to raise funds for a simple surgery that easily restores vision for the people of Tibet, a country that suffers one of the highest rates of blindness in the world. Love In Action 2010 has set an overall fundraising goal of $25,000 to assist this program and the funds raised from teams will be included in this tally. Teams need to register online at http://loveinaction2010.org by February 19th, and have until Friday March 12th to complete fundraising in order to be considered for the contest and prize to Peru. Teams will need to submit a photo of what it means to put your 'Love In Action', and a short 2-3 minute Youtube or Vimeo video of the campaign. Entries will be shortlisted to the three top teams on March 13th and the winning team announced at a special Love In Action event at Revival Nightclub on March 17th. The event will be a star-studded showcase of great local talent and an overall celebration of community and cause.

There's still time to register to win this great prize! Remember, campaigns do not have to be detailed and way over the top - we're looking for creativity and fun. Hold a bake sale, a party, a clothing swap, etc - do something you're passionate about and you could win! We're hoping that each team member can raise $500, which would bring each team total to $1500 and that much closer to our $25,000 goal!
