How To Kick Back Without Spending Too Much

alt

Everyone fantasizes about taking a nice long vacation however they are not always feasible. Mini vacations are therefore a great idea if you are looking to get away. Mini getaways give you time to enjoy yourself and relax without calling for a big budget or a long break.

The following are some weekend getaways you should try next time you are in need of a mini vacation.

1. Collingwood

During the winter months Collingwood is an especially great weekend getaway. You can spend the days skiing or snowboarding and then rent a chalet or a hotel room right at the base of Blue Mountain. If you don’t enjoy those winter sports there are also many spas in the area you can visit and pamper yourself.

2. Niagara Falls

There are plenty of things to do and see in Niagara Falls. Whether you are in the mood to gamble, check out a few museums or see the Niagara attractions, you are sure to enjoy yourself and unwind during this getaway.

3. Montreal
Montreal is perfect for a mini vacation. You will feel like you are incredibly far away from home without having to actually travel too far. Visit the beautifully preserved Old Montreal for a little taste of Europe, go shopping on St Catherine Street or visit the cathedral. No matter what you choose to see, you will be happy you chose to escape the daily grind for this little retreat.

Trying out these mini getaways will prove that you do not need an expensive or elaborate trip to deliver you a relaxing adventure.
