Summer may be winding down in North America, but south of the Equator, things are just starting to heat up. If you're not ready for the good times to end, now's the time to book your trip to the Land Down Under! While there are plenty of places to visit in Australia, it's easiest to start your trip in Sydney, the continent's largest city. Visit the iconic Opera House and cruise around the harbor (with a "u") while you take in the breathtaking view of the Sydney Bridge. Finish up with dinner at Darling Harbour and enjoy a night on the town in The Rocks, Sydney's most charming neighborhood. The next day, make sure you hit the zoo to see koalas, kangaroos and the rest of Australia's bizarre and incredible fauna.

But while you can enjoy the city life in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and even Perth, don't forget about all of Oz's spectacular natural wonders. From lush rain forests to the Great Barrier Reef to the vast, red Outback and Uluru (also known as Ayer's Rock), there's no shortage of gorgeous locales to see while you're Down Under. Don't forget about the Hunter Valley, where some of Australia's most delicious wines are grown and bottled.
