With Centurion's Concierge Services, Your Itinerary is as Vivid as Your Imagination

The brand identity of American Express has long been that of the card that supports the creativity of the educated consumer. It is the ultimate brand for uncompromising cardholders who live life to the fullest. The "My Life, My Card" global campaign communicates the role the American Express brand plays in the lives of extraordinary people. The stunning talent line up includes Kate Winslet, Robert DeNiro, Ellen DeGeneres, Laird Hamilton and Venus Williams.

American Express has identified four new insights that define the individualist' mindset, including:

1. Lifestyle exclusivity is what matters The new luxury is a lifestyle that is unique. Affluent Canadians want to be able to enjoy what is important to them.

2. Excess is out The individualist' wants what is unknown and hard-to-get. Being different and authentic is more important than impressing others.

3. Time is like titanium The individualist' is in passionate pursuit of ways to leverage their resources to create more time to spend with family, friends and on themselves.

4. Freedom from complexity The individualist' expects personalized service by expert providers who understand their lifestyle and deliver on their expectations.

Si Si Penaloza, Editorial Director of WOMAN.ca recently attended an American Express round table where Sheila Mondragon, Head of Membership Travel Services at American Express, outlined some of the more interesting client requests that have come to her and Chief Concierge Mary Steadman in recent memory:

SNL tickets to show taping with Sarah Palin

A Centurion Member called to request a pair of tickets to Saturday Night Live. SNL tickets are typically very hard to come by, but this episode was featuring Sarah Palin, making them even scarcer. The member called only a couple of days before the show taping, giving the Concierge team a short time frame to fulfill the request.

Hong Kong special experience for the Chinese New Year

A Centurion Member was going to Hong Kong for Chinese New Year and wanted to have dinner at a restaurant that was 30 floors high, overlooking the harbour and the fireworks. He also wanted to have dinner and drinks at one of the two most prestigious members-only clubs in Hong Kong.

When A Dozen Roses Just Won't Do

Flowers might seem like a simple request, but not when the member wants to have the flowers given to his wife by the cast of Gone with the Wind during a performance. On another occasion, a Centurion Member requested to gave flowers delivered to a solitary cabin at the top of a mountain in Austria no problem for the Centurion Concierge who had 10 white lilies sent up on a cable car.

Nothing Says Love Like Livestock!

A Centurion Member called the Concierge from the UK to get a cow as a gift for his girlfriend living in Australia.

Elvis is IN the Building

The Centurion Concierge organized a trip for a member and 22 of his friends to Graceland, home of The King, including Elvis costumes for all!

It would be very interesting to watch the performance Gone with the Wind. I have watched the movie ( http://file.sh/gone+with+the+wind+torrent.html ) and read the book. To get the best impression, I'd like to see the performance too :)
