For Your Health, And A Healthy Planet
While I've yet to move away from Tupperware lunch containers, I think one step in the right direction is better than none. Be aware of packaging while you shop and think twice before buying a bottle of water when you're out and thirsty. You can save hundreds of dollars a year by switching to a reusable bottle. And I won't spit any numbers at you, but let me say the impact plastics in general have on landfills and how much they contribute to greenhouse gases, is astounding. So let's try to lessen our impact on this ball of green and blue we call home.

Thanks for all the comments, Jess :) I'm glad someone's reading! haha. I think a good alternative to the Tupperware is glass food storage. But, they're heavy and the lid's are still plastic--better than full plastic though. Frigoverre was one company I found providing glass containers...but I'm sure there are many others.
