Therefore, Terra Plana insists on using a strictly eco-friendly materials including: Chrome free leathers, vegetable tanned leathers, recycled materials, pure latex soling materials, recycled rubber soles and recycled foam foot beds. Terra Plana also introduces E-leather, an eco revolutionary leather by-product.

All of their shoes have a distinctly unique look, and are unlike any pump, sandal or slingback you can buy in a mall retailer. Some of their heels are even made from recycled quilts from Pakistan and Bangladesh.
