Brooklyn's Answer To Serious Organic Soap

altskinnyskinny is a Brooklyn based organic soap company that has created a beautiful line of eco-savvy bath, beauty and home products. All products are made from natural, certified organic ingredients and are crafted with precision. skinnyskinny can also boast that all of its operations are carbon neutral.

Founder Clara Williams started her project in an attempt to make a soap that would benefit members of her family who were suffering from eczema and psoriasis. She created organic soaps that are free from parabens, sulfates and synthetic fragrances - all ingredients found in regular soaps that can irritate some people's skin.

When perusing the different scents and products on their website, you will find a complete ingredient list for each product and each scent! This helps you choose which product is right for you and also takes the guesswork out of knowing what you are putting on your skin. For example, the Organic Rose and Almond bar soap is made from organic extra-virgin olive oil, organic rose and almond essential oils, organic almonds, organic virgin coconut, organic palm fruit, organic coconut, organic Fair Trade cocoa butter and organic oatmeal.

The soap is rich and luxurious, smelling just like a rose garden. The almonds and oatmeal exfoliate and scrub to perfection, while leaving your skin soft and moisturized - I think we have the cocoa butter to thank for that. Its the perfect relief for dry or dead skin and will make you feel like a princess! The soaps sell for $8.00 a bar online.

Another added enviro-touch is skinnyskinny's packaging. All of their products come wrapped in recycled, hand-designed paper. The eye-catching signature wrapping recently won the company the Best Green Packaging award from the Health and Beauty Association-International Product Design Awards.

Online customers receive a free 100% organic lip balm with a purchase of over $15.00. The balms are soft and moisturizing without being sticky or leaving your lips dry an hour later. They also come in a very cute recycled tube that can be recycled when your finished!.

Take a chance with organic beauty products and do your skin some good!
