How Twitter and M&Ms Can Help Your Career
How many of us have been guilty of putting off a job search for other activities or because we feel unmotivated?
Admit it, but don't feel too terribly. You're not alone. And no one knows this better than Dan Miller. The author of 48 Days to the Work You Love, No More Mondays, and a regular contributor to CBN.com, AARP, and Success magazines has been putting up a big web-effort to help those of us who need a little motivation.
I know, the last thing you want to hear about is another blog you should check out and follow. However, like all of us, you probably take the time to read a lot of garbage on the web, and one stop on Miller's quirky site couldn't hurt, right?
In fact, it could actually be the kick-in-the-butt you need to get started because it's easily digestible, funny, and very true.
Miller's blog has been up since 2007 (which means lots of archives to read) and it discusses anything from lemonade stands, to monasteries, to Jamie Foxx and Tom Cruise in Collateral and he truly can angle career tips to engage even the least motivated of us.
Visit his site: www.48daysblog.wordpress.com - in between your frequent visits to WOMAN.ca, of course! And though we can't guarantee it gets you a job, or helps you replace the one you already have, it might just give you that one piece of advice you need to get started (and this time really do it).
