A 14 year old girl from Brazil, Elisany Silva, is no ordinary teenager -in fact, she is currently the tallest in the world.

At 6'9", Silva is finding that her unusual height is causing her problems as she cannot fit on the school bus and playing with friends proves to be a difficult activity to enjoy. Her mother is afraid that her height may be the result of some sort of illness but has no means to pursue her concerns as she does not have money for doctors.

Regardless of the negative setbacks she is facing, Silva has one aspiration in life that could actually transform her curse into a blessing: modeling. Her first runway appearance is set for a bridal fashion show in Belem, Brazil.
