Have Fun With Your Lady Friends

A girl's night out (GNO) is a great way to kick back, relax and enjoy the company of those you love. Whether you're attached or single, finding time to hang with your closest girlfriends is extremely important.

However, after a few GNO's it can be easy to run out of ideas. Where to go? What to do? It's essential to switch it up from time to time.

Here are five great ways to spend a Saturday night with your besties.

1. Take A Class
Taking classes with friends is a great way to bond and learn something new at the same time. Try a cooking class, a pottery class, or dance class with everyone together. Many instructional facilities offer discounts for bigger groups, so don't be shy when inviting your guests.

2. Have A Potluck
Instead of racking up a bill in a noisy restaurant, why not have an all-girls potluck dinner? They re fun and easy, and it takes a lot of pressure off of the host. Click here for great potluck party themes.

3. Volunteer
Doing good things for other people makes everyone feel good deep down. Get into the holiday spirit and round up a group of friends to go help out at a food bank or a soup kitchen. It's a great way to give back to the community, and a wonderful experience to share with friends.

4. Have A Photo Shoot
Make memories with your girls by hosting a make-shift photo shoot. Set up a background using white sheets, and light up the room with flashlights, table lamps, and anything else that you can find. Bring props like feather boas and funny hats, and pose for one another. Then, make copies of the photos for everyone so that they too can keep the memories.

5. Wine Tasting

Most GNO's involve wine, but rather than grabbing the cheapest bottle at your local wine store, why not go to a real wine tasting? Knowing a thing or two about wine is definitely an asset, and you'll be sure to get your buzz on by the end of the night. (They recommend that you swish and spit, but no one will stop you if you swallow...)
