What To Get Your BF's Folks

altYou’ve got your Christmas sweater on, you’ve practiced your greeting in the mirror five times, and you’re just about ready to head out when you realize:

OH EM GEE! I forgot to get his parents a gift!

Shopping for your partners mom or dad can be a seriously difficult task. You want to impress them without looking like you tried too hard, and perhaps you’re even on a budget.

Here are some great gifting ideas for your potentially future in-laws.

A Wine Basket
Put together a nice gift basket with wine, wine glasses and an assortment of goodies and cheeses.

A Coffee Basket
His parents aren’t wine drinkers? This is the same idea as the wine basket, but use coffee mugs and some quality coffee instead.

Home Items
Another great idea is items for the home.  Here a coffee table book, a scented candle or a nice serving plate is something thoughtful you can give them for around the house.

Plants
A nice Christmas Poinsettia is beautiful holiday present. Another good plant idea is the Lucky Bamboo. The bamboo is supposed to bring the bearer good luck, and each number of stalks is supposed to bring its own benefit to the holder.

Edible Items
Buy them a nice box of chocolates, or bake them some nice homemade goodies. Both of these options are simple, but are sure to be enjoyed!
