Everyone Gets Steamy At The Thompson Hotel
Happy
Valentine’s Day, or for those who are currently romantically challenged
happy S.A.D (single awareness day).
Being amongst those categorized as
romantically challenged I decided that this Valentine’s Day, rather
than consuming cookie dough while having a romantic comedy movie
marathon, to indulge in a Secret Love Affair.
Thompson
Hotel is becoming known for its Monday Night events. This Monday night
was no different, as Thompson Hotel and J.A.M presented Blacklist:
Secret Love Affair.
The
modern chic basement space of Thompson Hotel is lined with booths to
give it a cozier feel. In the center there develops a dance floor where
you can dance the night away. With an assortment of amazing tunes,
ranging from top 40 to old school rock mash ups, you will have little
reason to use the comfortable sofas provided in the booths for anything
other than additional dance space.
We
arrived at Thompson a little before midnight to only a couple handfuls
of people, but by 12:30am the place was packed. The crowd in attendance
is more mature, however it was clear everyone was letting lose for the
evening. Leaving the club at around 2am the place was still in full of
energy, and I left with a buzz not just from the reasonably priced
alcohol, but from the atmosphere.
My Secret Love Affair was intimate and exciting, hot and energetic, mature and wild.
