Summertime is here, which means plenty of balmy evenings that are just perfect for entertaining. Whether you've got a big backyard or nothing but a tiny porch, you can throw the perfect summer party to celebrate the season in style.

Nothing says summertime like a few flames, so if you've got the yard for it, set up some tiki torches for a little island ambiance. If all you've got is a small balcony, use a few candles to set the mood - electric ones will work fine if you're worried about starting a fire. Flowers are another island must, so purchase a few bouquets - pick fresh-smelling varieties so that summer breeze will carry the scent of the season with every blow.

You'll also need plenty of snacks and drinks. Lots of delicious fruits are in season in summer, so stock up on tons of fresh berries, pineapple, mango and other luxurious treats. As for libations, nothing says summertime like a Corona with lime, some blended margaritas or a refreshing glass of chilled white wine. For non-drinkers, lemonade and iced tea are sure to ring in the season in style.
