few of your favorite girlfriends? You'll need the perfect flick to
bring the evening together. If your brain has been addled by months of
watching horrible action films with your guy, here are a few gal-pal

Our first suggestion is an oldie but a goodie - Legally Blonde. A girl-power movie disguised as a chick flick, the story centers on a ditzy sorority girl who goes to Harvard Law School to win back her boyfriend - but discovers instead that she's actually a pretty talented lawyer. Looking for the same idea, but in reverse? Try Miss Congeniality, the story of a gruff spy who goes undercover at a beauty pageant and discovers that hey, getting glammed up ain't so bad.
For a throwback film that stands the test of time, it doesn't get any better than Clueless - you and your friends will be quoting it for weeks.
If you want a film that's a little more serious, you can't beat Beaches. The famous tear-jerker ending won't leave a dry eye in the house, and you'll want to hug your girlfriends a little tighter once the credits play.
