All You Need To Tie Up This Look is A Chic Pair of Sandals

You've seen them on effortlessly chic women at the beach, worn as a dress, skirt or simple beach wrap cover up. We've all looked at them in the store and said, "What do I do with this?" as we unfold this giant piece of fabric.

The sarong is a versatile piece of clothing that very woman should have in her summer wardrobe, great for a fun and light night out worn as a halter dress, perfect for walking the beach as a mini skirt and even better for a fashionable beach wrap.

Once you spend a few minutes in your bedroom or bathroom practicing with your sarong, you'll feel liberated and free to explore other options of this fashion marvel.

The halter dress: A summertime classic, great for walking the boardwalk on a warm evening. To start, place the sarong around your body (back to front, the two ends and cross them in front of you, over your bust maybe adding a slight twist to the fabric, then tie a knot at the back of the neck to secure.

The shawl: To start, drape the sarong over your shoulders like a cape, on the right hand side tie the two corners together to form a sleeve, repeat on the left hand side. A great light shoulder cover-up for a night out.

The classic long skirt: everyone loves this look, beach wear, shopping wear, it's all in how you make it your own. To start, place sarong around your waist (back to front) grab sarong on the right hand side and about a foot in on the left and make a small bunch. Tie the right corner of the left bunch to make a knot. Then grab the very end of the left side and tuck it back up under the knot, pull the triangular piece you just tucked under the knot up and out from behind the sarong. Do a little bit of adjusting to get things even and just like that you're ready to go.

These are just a few simple ideas for that sarong everyone has tucked away in a drawer because they didn't know what to do with it. So go for it, practice makes perfect!
