Over 600 guests attended the 5th annual SMUT Soiree where a lively expert panel - Elaine Lui of LaineyGossip, Dan Levy of MTV and celeb photographer George Pimentel - dished the dirt on the latest Hollywood trysts, tabloid headlines and the damned-but-necessary paparazzi. Nothing was sacred on this night and the crowd loved it! All three gossip hounds regaled us with tales of size *ahem* matters, bad romance and illegitimate babies.

The beautiful tribe were out in full force at this much anticipated SMUT Soiree. The 5th Anniversary of the gossip party attracted the city's glam n' gams flock to the chic Audi flagship showroom - impressively styled into an outdoor living room, complete with soaring wingback armchairs, white leather sofas and Dior. And there was a seemingly endless supply of Absolut Vodka and Maynard's Wine Gums. In short, we LOVED this edition of our favorite summer party.

After the dirt got dished, my jaw dropped as Glee's Cory Monteith told partygoers via a surprise video that he would match their donations to Covenant House, which was also the recipient of a $10,000 donation courtesy of The Society, Laineygossip and Absolut. Props to the SMUT organizers for scoring this major media coup for a great philanthropic cause! Very impressive.

Guests got the biggest kick out of the Photo Frenzy from the Bay. With the help of the latest imaging technology - fresh from the hipster Whitney Art Party in NYC - partygoers were treated to a LIVE feed of step-and-repeat imagery from the SMUT Studio.

And, as we've been proud Dyson owners since 2006, we were pleased to see the leader in innovative vacuum technology and cutting-edge design at SMUT. We loved this clever "get clean" metaphor at this legendary affair of "airing dirty laundry". And of course, we plumped up our pout at the Dior Den. How cool is it to get the best dish AND discover the best in Lip Service by Dior Beauty? All in one, gorgeously sultry summer night! This swish event has consistently proven to be one of the classic "Great Nights Out" of the Toronto summer season.
