App's Are The New Black
It's all about keeping up with the times!
Woman's retailer and international lifestyle brand Esprit is now jumping on the iPhone app bandwagon.
There is no doubt that mobile application's are nearly essential to any business model, and therefore it's expected that everyone and their mother will, at some point. develop an app.
The real question is how useful and practical will these apps be? Perhaps these apps are just the reflection of a company trying to "keep up" with their competitors? Regardless, it's the wave of the future and companies who are serious about staying current need to figure out how to continue their connection with the consumer.
The explosion of the smartphone market has made it even more crucial for companies to adapt and stay connected with consumers on a minute to minute basis. This includes tying in and accessing all their social networks at the push of a button.
Esprit's app offers a gallery, video, news, and a GPS storefinder which all links back to their Facebook fan pages, allowing die-hards to follow trends, campaigns, and socialize.
So for all of us out there who simply cannot LIVE without a constant connection to our local Esprit store (umm...?) the answer has finally arrived.
Would you download the Esprit app?
