Winter Hats For Curly Hair

A Solution For Winter Hair Woes

altWinter is the worst season for curly hair.

The kinkiest of curls need to be tamed with moisture daily, and either pulled back into a ponytail, or covered with a hat.

Well, us curly girls are in luck!

It turns out knitted berets are making a comeback this season.

Handmade and slouchy is your best bet for a hat that will adapt to the shape of your head, keep your ears warm, and still leave enough breathing room for those loopy locks. Plus, they're chic and stylish. Bonus points! Etsy has some of the most artistic, creative, undiscovered fashionistas around and you can get all kinds of beautifully handmade snoods in a broad assortment of colours and styles.

Ultra slouchy, hippie, rasta, tam - whatever suits your coiled coiffure. You can find them at almost any retail fashion store at the mall, too.

This winter I'm no longer a slave to hat hair, and you shouldn't be either. Find yourself a knitted hat and keep rockin' those curls!
