We Just Can't Wait For Leather Weather

If you're ready to give your spring look a little edge, you better save your Christmas gift money for the SS 2011 collection from Danier!

At the leather line's recent preview, we couldn't help but fall for the ombre dyes, sophisticated colour palettes and matching accessories.

Not breaking too far from the regular, you can still expect to see tailored and structured leather pieces. It's the palettes that have changed slightly. While they've gone quite daring with the mens line (there's a buttery lemon yellow jacket that's just to die for) they've kept the women's a little more subdued, although there are still wonderful pops of colour for the girl who's not afraid to stop traffic.

The ombre design, seen throughout, is a two part process, with the colour added as a wash over a whit skin. The result is a rich, dynamic, almost aged finish.

We also loved the new direction, with the tank-inspired leather tops with a lace back, or the shift with a knit back – classy, chic and totally unexpected. And you can't ignore the girly touches – the lace printed scarves, the cute clutches.

A stand out piece – the unique white leather motorcycle jacket with a black, brush stroke pattern  designed by their in-house menswear designer. A truly modern take on an unwavering classic.

All in all, it's another collection well  done.

About the author:

Sometimes she's a redhead, sometimes she's a blonde. Some days it's H&M, and on other days, it's Chanel. What ever the mood, she is a woman who is passionate about the arts, fashion and social media. But after graduating she realized that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and that the arts was in her blood, applying her education within the art and fashion world.
