Get Rid Of Gas By Watching What You Eat
Your business meeting is going really well. They appear to be eating it up. Heads nodding. Hands shaking. You have really made a swimming impression. Then, all of a sudden... you fart.
Sounds
like a nightmare, but the truth is, gas happens. They stink, they're
humiliating, and gas can not only cramp your style, but it can cramp
your stomach as well.
Gas is painful, and embarrassing, but many
doctors contend that flatulence is connected to your diet.
To avoid
this horrifying scenario, try eliminating these items from your diet:
Dairy Products:
Lactose
is a natural sugar found in many milk products. It is also a major
cause of gas. Milk, cream and cottage cheese are said to be the worst
for flatulence. To get your calcium try to go for yogurt and cheese
instead.
Vegetables:
You all know that nursery rhyme about beans, the magical fruit? Well,
turns out Mother Goose was on to something. Some veggies, like beans,
radishes, artichokes, asparagus, carrots, corn, cabbage, cauliflower,
broccoli, cabbage, onions, green peas, celery and some other legumes
are said to be the cause of gas in lots of people individuals. Try, if
you can, to cut back on these foods, and especially before a big event,
interview or presentation.
Fruits:
Sorbitol is a natural sugar found in many fruits. Certain foods that
are rich in sorbitol include peaches, peaches, and (go figure) prunes.
Also, bananas, apricots and grapes are said to cause gas in some
people. If you can, limit your intake of these fruits to ensure a
fart-free day.
Fiber:
When
it comes to gas, this can kill ya. If you're suffering from
constipation, then this is the holy grail. However if flatulence is
your problem, try to limit your consumption of fibre. Fibre can be
found in many things including oat bran and veggies, so make sure to
read labels carefully.
