Serve This Quick and Easy Cocktail To Impress Your Guests

Maybe we've just got Draper-fever over here, but we're sure that there's nothing better to tickle your taste buds than tasty Manhattan.

The drink is said to have originated at the Manhattan Club in New York City back in the 1870's. There are multiple variations on the drink, but the key ingredients are usually whiskey, sweet vermouth and bitters.

However, no matter how you make it, this vintage cocktail is a definite party pleaser, and can take any evening from ordinary to extraordinary with just a short glass, a few ice cubes, and this mouth-watering recipe:

What You'll Need:

2 ounces rye whisky
1 ounce Italian vermouth
2 dashes Angostura bitter
1 cherry

What You'll Do:

Shake the rye, the vermouth, and the bitters well with cubes of ice. Strain all of it into in a chilled cocktail glass, either short or martini style, and garnish with a maraschino cherry

Easy peazy! Cheers!
