I love pictures. I love pictures of happy moments where it seeps right off the photo paper into my heart. I surround myself with such pictures at home, in the office, on my laptop screen and bb homepage. They definitely bring sunshine to my life and make each and every day that much brighter and better.
I carry my digi cam at all times. Most often she's all charged up and ready to go. You just never know when a moment might strike that is worthy of capturing
A few months ago my little point and shooter was damaged beyond repair. As much as I hate to admit it, my heart broke a little bit. I mean how was I going to be able to capture all the moments in my life in time? As dramatic as it sounds, I knew I could not live without this gadget in my life.
I started doing some research on the cost of a new memory keeping friend. In passing I mentioned to a friend the travesty that was mine. Next thing I knew I had a Sony Cyber Shot Digital Camera W230 waiting for me at reception at my office. I was more then ecstatic--it felt like Christmas morning in July!
The Sony Cyber Shot is just what my ving-nation was after. A point and shoot, with so many settings to choose fromeven an underwater setting though don't be fooled this gadget is not waterproof and entails a special casing to go for a little dip. Pretty cool all the same, non?The first weekend of having my companion I was northbound which would entail some living and laughing with the Fam on Lake of Bays. I couldn't wait to break out my new camera out and give it a whirl while
memories were in the making.
It did just what I needed plus was even easier you to use than I imagined. The remainder of the summer has been filled with more pics than usualmost of my friends would shake there heads and deny that there are more than ever but the novelty of this new gadget makes it even more fun to use. I have used it up north, in the city, at weddings, at birthday parties as well as for some of my columns (the Joe Fresh piece never could have happened without the gorgeosity of my new digital companion!)
Its sleek, easy to use and even better a lovely ocean blue colourthough I would normally have chosen pink it is nice to switch it up here and there!
Ya know what the best part of using it about town is one of my good friends actually went out and purchased one of her own after seeing not only how easy the camera is to use, but how amazingly the pics come out.
Thank Goodness for having my little digital, moment freezing companion back in my life to capture all my memories in the making!
V.
