Buffy's Having A Baby!

Another Contender For Hollywood's Most Beautiful Baby

Sarah Michelle Gellar is trading hunting vampires for midnight feedings. The Buffy The Vampire Slayer star and her Scooby Doo leading man Freddie Prinze, Jr. are expecting their first child together this fall.

The couple, who have been married for six years, are "very excited" about the impending arrival. We feel like grandparents who can finally look forward to replacing the Sears photo that came in their wallet with embarrassing snaps of the grandkids.

Fellow Sunnydale paranormal investigator Alyson Hannigan also recently gave birth to her first child.

And in a case of LeAnn Rimes worthy stunt marketing, SMG is said to be in talks to reprise her role as the feisty vamp stalker for a on-off movie. An insider says, "There is an idea for a script and to pick the story up with Buffy older and maybe even a mother." Forget gaining weight for a part, giving birth shows real committment.

Congrats to the telegenic-twosome on their next big production. Hopefully the baby -- who will undoubtedly grow up and decide it wants to be an actor instead of getting a real job -- will choose better scripts than its parents.
