Would She Be A Better Or Worse Parent Than Michael Jackson? Hmm . . .

All that Caribbean, ghanja-smoking Amy Winehouse has been doing at her semi-permanent vacation spot/home in St. Lucia has evidently helped her get in touch with her inner Angelina Jolie.

The troubled troubadour is said to be seeking to adopt "but she is aware it's going to be incredibly difficult with her background. She has always wanted to be a mother."

She knows babies aren't allowed in bars, right? But hey, a kid is like a cup holder for life and that's something worth fighting for.

Apparently the "Rehab" star's desire to ruin the life of a defenseless child stems from her admiration of Brangelina who have adopted three kids. Yet somehow she failed to also take note of the fact that they're sober, responsible parents who haven't blown their savings on Aqua Net and funny colored little pills.

But we suspect Amy's sudden want to be a parent is motivated more by reports that her estranged husband Blake Fielder Civil knocked up a woman he cheated on her with in rehab than a desire to spend quality time at Gymboree and Chuck E. Cheese.

Something tells us Amy's temporary bout of maternal insanity will be cured after a truckload of Lay's potato chips and M&Ms.

I let children in my bar all the time, I give Amy a slight edge over Angelina as my preferred parent and I am a responsible and sober adult with one small child.
