Ed Westwick's Bond Ambition

He's Got The Drinking On-Screen Part Down Pat

File this one under Not Bloody Likely: Brit actor (yeah, with that American accent you kinda forget that don't cha?) Ed Westwick apparently harbors dreams of replacing Daniel Craig as the next James Bond.

Apparently he's been drinking the same spiked Kool-Aid as Jennifer Aniston and Mischa Barton. Is he even capable of more than two facial expressions?

The Gossip Girl star has amassed a huge female following through his role on the hit tween drama, but admits he's desperate to test his action movie credentials alongside one of Bond's sexy femme fatales.

"Being from England, and being a lad, I have to say James Bond. It would be wrong of me to say anything else."

Well, if producers ever decide to make a movie that's the complete and total opposite of oh say, good, and are looking for a slightly chunky, boy shorts-wearing, ambiguously metrosexual lead, they'll know who to call.

I wouldn't mind being the next James Bond either, doesn't mean it's going to happen.
