When The Heck Would She Have Found The Time? During "Barney" Commercial Breaks?

Just one week after Jon Gosselin's supposed mistress, Deanna Hummel, insisted she and the reality star are "just friends" come rumors of shrew wife Kate Gosselin's extramarital tryst with the family's bodyguard Steve Neild.

The matriarch of course denies the allegations in the calm and measured way she's known for, "The next story coming out from the animals that stalk us is about our security person and his family," she tells People. "Already the allegations they're making about me are disgusting, unthinkable, unfathomable, and I am horrified."

Uh, would those "animals" be the same ones Kate invited into her family's life with a plate of warm cookies and glass of milk for a shot at prime-time Norman Rockwell bliss or is there a pack of rabid wildebeest tracking them in their gated community or something?

We doubt this story is true but seeing a super duper over-achiever foiled is always entertaining. It's like cosmic karma for stupid Shannon Davies suckling at the teat of totally undeserved glory as homecoming queen and student council president for three years running. But we're over it. Really.

Anyway, where would Kate have found the energy for any horizontal hijinks after being So Much Better Than You all the time? Maybe that's why even her hair looks stressed out.

Plus, we're pretty sure Steve's wife would have known something was up if he came home without his peen. Kate seems like the type who would attack after mating.
