Breaking Up Is Hard To Do For This "I Do - Wait No, I Don't" Couple

After getting rejected by Natalie Portman, Sean Penn is crawling back to wife Robin Wright and calling off their legal separation. Again.

Despite their rocky relationship, they can't quite seem to quit each other.

Weeks after filing for legal separation from his wife of 13 years, Penn has withdrawn his motion, pulling the papers from California's Marin County Superior Court, which he originally filed April 24.

It's almost as if Penn and Wright prefer doing the paperwork than actually splitting up for good.

"I can confirm papers for legal separation have been dismissed and there are no papers in the court system any longer, says Penn's publicist.

This is the second time in eighteen months that the couple had filed for separation and later dismissed it.

"It was an arrogant mistake," Penn, told the New York Daily News.

Sean Penn? Arrogant? Gidouttahere.

The Milk star had also requested joint custody of their two children. How many times do you think the couple have sat down their kids and given them the Listen, you know we both love you, right? But sometimes, it's better for a mom and dad to live apart so that we can all be happy, talk? At this point, they probably don't even bother unpacking their bags.

But something always makes Sean go back to Robin, and something always makes Robin take him back. It's gotta be the makeup sex. They fight like bears then bump like bunnies. And what better way to set the mood than to rescind divorce proceedings? Yeah, baby.

Or more likely Robin's following the soon-to-be ex Mrs. Gibson's example and keeps welcoming him back in hopes of a Passion of the Christ type settlement down the line. Think about it. Imagine what kind of ass Sean Penn is. Not to mention the string of extracurricular affairs (allegedly). Does she want to spend the rest of her life with this guy? Hells NO. Does she want to spend the rest of her life with a significant portion of his money? Hell YES!

Anyway, let's see how long this reconciliation lasts. Hell, they could be breaking up again right now . . .
