Zen Actor's Suspicious Death Under Investigation

Legendary actor David Carradine, star of the 1970s television series Kung Fu and the title character in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill movies, was found dead in a Thailand hotel.

Conflicting reports surround the cause of death.

Local police say the actor was "found hung in a closet" by a hotel maid, and that suicide is suspected. David's management, however, flatly dispute the suicide theory, and say Thai police are investigating.

"We can confirm 100% that he never would have committed suicide. It was an accidental death. Everybody is in shock," says his rep.

Other reports suggest the tragedy was an accident that may have resulted from a sex game gone wrong. An officer on the scene described finding Carradine's
naked body hanging in his closet with rope around his neck as well as "other body parts." We'll leave you to fill in the blanks, but here's a hint: Michael Hutchence.

Eerily, one of Carradine's last projects is a film called My Suicide, which centers on a young student who becomes the most talked about kid in school when he
announces -- on-camera during a school project -- that he's going to kill himself. According to EW.com, Carradine plays a wise mentor figure who teaches the boy that you don't have to kill yourself, just the parts of yourself that you don't like.

Carradine's IMDb credit page shows that the cult hero appeared in 118 films, with 13 --13!-- titles listed for this year.
