Yeah, VH1 Might Want To Re-think Its Screening Process

DUN, DUN.

After a massive international manhunt, VH1 show contestant Ryan Jenkins' life ended in a way that could have been scripted for an episode of Law and Order.

According to police sources in Canada where he fled after allegedly murdering his ex-wife Jasmine Fiore, the reality TV star slash stripper-wife murderer took his own life in a budget British Columbia hotel room. A hotel employee found him hanging from the bar of a coat rack by a belt.

Jenkins, who appeared on VH1's Megan Wants a Millionaire, was accused of the gruesome death of Fiore, a model whose body was so badly mutilated it had to be identified by her breast implants' serial numbers. Jenkins evaded police for days as he crossed from California into his native Canada.

"We were able to determine that it was Ryan Jenkins," said Sgt. Duncan Pound of the RCMP's Federal Border Integrity Program, during an early evening news conference. "At this point it would be speculation as to how long he had been there."

We assume he was identified by his bad hair plugs.

Damn, it's a shame Jenkins didn't stay alive long enough to stand trial. Honestly, we feel a bit cheated on this one. This guy deserved to be someone's prison boyfriend for a little while before he hung himself in his cell. Or at least have to suffer through an endless loop of Heidi Montag's "singing" for 15 to 25 years.
