If She Had Her Way, She'd Send Him To Bed Without Dessert
Betty White has made a career of playing such sweet, kind-hearted characters that we can't imagine her losing her temper. Not even that one time on Golden Girls when all the ladies were in the kitchen for one of their midnight pow-wows only to find out that Ma ate the last piece of cheesecake. Now that's grounds for scratching someone's eyes out!
But evidently White, who co-starred with Sandra Bullock in The Proposal, is so upset about her friend's painful humiliation, she "cannot talk about [Jesse] James without using language so blue, it clearly is not printable in a family newspaper," reported the Chicago Sun-Times.
And a source close to White said, "Betty wants to kick Jesse James' a**. Betty is furious and just cannot understand why he would be so stupid. He had everything. A beautiful, talented wife who adored him, an amazing daughter that Sandra treats as her own, and he has thrown it all away for some floozy." In fact, Betty is so angry, she cannot mention Jesse's name without cursing!
Oh, it's ON nah!
The next time Jesse James is at the grocery store, Betty White should race to get ahead of him in the checkout line and then pay entirely in pennies and a handful of expired coupons, while regaling everyone with long-winded stories of the old days that she can't remember the ending to before Jesse makes the mistake of rolling his eyes too loudly and then Betty says, "I'll give you something to roll your eyes at, young man!" and attacks him with her purse. And you know old ladies carry everything but the kitchen sink in their purses, you know in case another Great Depression hits while they're out arguing about the price of produce.
Flawless victory!
Betty White - 1, Jesse James ... eh, who cares as long as he ends up writhing on the ground in pain?
Not that we're projecting or anything.
