Swift Proves She's The Bigger Person (And Bigger Star) At Last Night's VMA's
Last night, millions of viewers tuned in to watch the VMA's. Sure, some people wanted to see what Gaga would wear, others wanted to find out who Chelsea Handler was, but it's safe to say that the majority of viewers likely powered on to see what would happen with Kanye andTaylor Swift.
After last year, when Kanye
went up on stage to interrupt Taylor's acceptance speech, causing Beyonce to blush, Swift to cry, and Kanye to lose the respect of music
lovers world wide, many people were interested to see what would be
done this year to address last year's events.
Well, according to
sources, Kanye paid a visit to Swift's dressing room pre-show to offer
a formal, face-to-face apology, which was (in our opinion) long
overdue. Later on, Swift took the stage to sing her latest release
Forgiveness Ballad - directed at none other than Kanye West himself.
Some of the lyrics went as follows:
"Thirty-two and still growing up now; who you are is not what you did. You're still an innocent...Everyone of us has messed up too I hope you remember today is never too late to be brand new."
Talk
about taking the high road! Too bad we can't say the same for the
audience. As soon as Kanye took the stage to close off the show, the
crowd erupted in boo's.
I guess that will teach West a lesson. Don't mess with T-Swift!
