Taylor Swift And Jake Gyllenhaal: The Real Deal?

Last weekend was a busy one for Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal, and the paparazzi.

The unlikely pair managed to spend most of the weekend together in New York City, unsuccessfully avoiding the flashes of onlooker's cameras.

The two were spotted all over New York from an SNL taping, to a double date brunch in Brooklyn, a romantic stroll in the park, and even apple picking in an orchard.

Media reports claim that Jake and the twenty-one year old star were giggling and frolicking, ducking behind trees to outsmart the paps.

Apple picking in the Big Apple? Frolicking!? We're guessing this has crossed the line between platonic to romantic.

Swift's track record includes youngsters like Joe Jonas and Taylor Lautner, but more recently she has been linked to older men like John Mayer (speculated to be the inspiration behind her song "Dear John") and now Mr. Gyllenhaal.

Has Taylor graduated to the senior class? With the very recent debut of her third studio album Speak Now, basically a 14 track series of open letters to lovers who have scorned her, Jake may have to work extra hard to maintain a good standing. Otherwise, the next hit single could be "Dear Jake". Yikes!
