And The Truth Comes Out...

Model, sex symbol, and charming television personality Anna Nicole Smith died at age 39. It was a tragic tale of a life too young lost.

The cause of death was an accidental prescription drug overdose, and it's been a long haul in the investigation of her death. After a two month trial, Smith's partner and lawyer Howard K. Stern (picture with Anna at left) was convicted on two counts of conspiracy for using false names to obtain prescription drugs for Smith, however he was acquitted on seven more serious charges.

Shockingly, Smith's psychiatrist Khristine Eroshevich was convicted on four counts and a third defendant, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, was acquitted on all counts.

Outside the courthouse, Kapoor told the media, "This is not just a victory for me, but for patients everywhere who suffer [from] chronic pain".

It has been said that both Stern and Eroshevich were the closest to Smith, being the boyfriend and long-time psychologist and friend, and this recent conviction of co-conspiracy in her 2007 death is throwing Hollywood for a loop.

We always suspected something was fishy, but this!? Shocking.
